What You’ll Need
Review of Lauri Crepe Foam A – Z Puzzles
Lauri crepe foam puzzles offer many additional benefits to the traditional wood or plastic alphabet puzzles. Not only is the crepe texture amazing to the touch but the bright colors and hidden pictures beneath each letter make it extra fun.

We also loved how bendable, flexible, and forgiving the crepe foam letters were.
We loved that because the crepe foam has a little give to it, the little ones were able to place the letters in the correct place with much less frustration than the traditional wood alphabet puzzle because they didn’t have to be perfectly lined up in order to go in the correct slot.
Another advantage of this puzzle is that because the pieces are so soft, they won’t hurt if thrown (in case your little one likes to practice their throwing skills like ours does).
How else can you use these crepe foam alphabet puzzles?
- Practice placing each letter in their place as you sing the alphabet song
- Match the uppercase letter with its lowercase letter
- Make words with the letters
- Practice letter sounds
- Go on a scavenger hunt and find objects that begin with each letter of the alphabet; match them with the correct puzzle piece

We were also happy to discover that this puzzle was nibble proof. Miss 19 months took a quick chew on one of the letters and fortunately, it did not rip or tear at all.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to teach your child about the alphabet, this crepe foam alphabet puzzle is for you!
