While Miss 18 months usually just tags along with whatever her big sisters are working on, sometimes we need something to keep little sister occupied while big sisters work on their schoolwork or an extra messy art project.
I’ve been on the lookout for a simple and fun activity for her and when I saw the Rubbabu 3D animal shape sorter, I knew I’d finally found what I had been searching for. To see if this puzzle lived up to my expectations, please continue reading below.

Review of Rubbabu 3D Animal Shape Sorter
The Rubbabu 3D animal shape sorter is such a unique and fun puzzle! I loved the squishy, velvety softness of the pieces and the puzzle tray. While we do have several wooden puzzles that I love, this was a nice addition to our puzzle collection as it offers a different sensory experience. Another aspect I loved about this puzzle is that it is soft, so if your little one is in the throwing phase, it won’t hurt if a puzzle piece does end up being thrown.
Miss 7 (who enjoyed the puzzle just a much as Miss 18 months) also pointed out that the puzzle pieces sit a bit above the puzzle tray, which makes it easy to remove the pieces. The flexibility of the pieces also helps in removing and replacing the pieces.

Do you have children between the ages of 8 and 24 months (or older)? If so, we highly recommend this 3D shape sorter. Not only is it a fun activity for little ones (and their older siblings and parents) but it is also great for practicing colors and animal shapes.
