About Gnome Sweet Gnome
Gnome Sweet Gnome grows with the player - love this! To play, select a challenge - starter, junior, expert, or master - and create the design shown in the image.
This game is perfect for preschoolers and up!
The game includes:
- 3 wooden gnomes
- 3 wooden flowerpots
- 1 challenge booklet with 48 challenges and solutions
How to Play
- Choose a challenge. There are five different challenge levels, ranging from starter to master.
- Recreate the image shown on the challenge card, using one or more flowerpots and gnomes.
- You have completed the challenge when the front view of your design matches the image on the challenge card.
- The challenge cards start in color but as you progress to the master level, the images are in gray tones and are more challenging. Your child will need to rely on the shapes and sizes of each object instead of simply the colors.
Who is This Game For?
This game is for children ages 3 to 7. Miss 6 loved this game and enjoyed working through the challenges.
Why We Love Gnome Sweet Gnome
The game is very well made! The game pieces are made of beautiful, solid wood with beautiful vibrant paint. The challenge booklet is made of sturdy glossy paper and is bound with a durable spiral-style coil. These will no doubt hold up to years of play!
Not only is Gnome Sweet Gnome a visually appealing game but it will also hone your problem-solving, logic, and spatial abilities. We love it when games are educational as well as fun!
Gnome Sweet Gnome has quickly become one of our all-time favorite games!
I love that it is simple to learn to play and the challenges are both doable and challenging.
The illustrations in the challenge booklet are absolutely gorgeous and the game pieces are adorably fun.
A sweet poem is even included in the beginning of the booklet.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone with young children or grandchildren.
We love that this game can be played by a single player but can also be used together. In addition to playing this game as designed, you could also use it as free play. It can easily be stored away in the closet, in a diaper bag, or in a back-of-seat-organizer in the car!
