Flags of the World is geared towards children ages 7-12 but Miss 4 and Miss 5 enjoyed working on this sticker poster just as much as Miss 9 and Miss 11 did.
It was the perfect number recognition activity for the younger ones and it also allowed them to become more familiar with the countries of the world as well.
The stickers are repositionable (all 200 of them!) – a huge plus for anyone who has ever tried to move a sticker after it’s been placed firmly on a page. 😅
And yes, we did have to move several of the stickers. Fortunately, they lifted right up, even an hour after they were placed on the page. 😅
A numbered code guide with illustrations of all the maps is also included, so if a sticker happens to be removed from the sticker page, there is no need to panic (ask me how I know 😅). Simply refer to the guide for the name of the country and its number.
And, the poster is large enough that several children can work on it at the same time. Another win!
I simply cut the map sticker pages into smaller sections so each child could have their own.
This was the perfect rainy day activity! We were able to complete the poster in one afternoon but you could also split it up and work on it throughout the school year, learning about the different countries in depth while completing the sticker poster.
