Critical and Creative Thinking Skills: Grade 2 covers the following subjects:
- Through the Year (holidays and seasons)
- Animals
- Places
- Time to Eat
- My Body
- In My World
Questions and activities include:
- Write a sentence using the words bunny, basket, and cute.
- Decorate the egg. Then write what the bunny is thinking.
- Complete the word search and then use as many of the words as you can in a sentence.
- Which penguin is different?
- What is another animal that is black and white?
- Use just four colors to color the spaces on the turtle’s shell. The spaces that are the same color must not touch each other.
- Why do these things go together: fork, spoon, knife?
- Use the code to find the answer to the riddle.
- Finish the pattern.
- Unscramble the words.
- Where in the world is it hot?
- And many, many more!
The activities in the workbook are thought-provoking and sure to spark conversation! They are easy to understand and can be used with your regular curriculum or as a supplemental resource throughout the year or during summer as a fun activity to fill in your child’s downtime.
I recommend Critical and Creative Thinking Skills: Grade 2 as a wonderful resource! Miss 7 enjoyed the activities and was very excited about this workbook!
