What to Do
Begin by hydrating your water beads (read the instructions on the packaging). We placed a couple pinchfulls of each color into a large bowl of water and allowed them to hydrate overnight. By the next morning, the water beads were ready for play! After dumping out most of the excess water, we poured the water beads into one of our IKEA bins. It worked perfectly to contain the beads but wasn't so deep that it was difficult to play.

Next, place your figurines into the container and allow your child's imagination to run wild! We love setting out these sensory bins because they are a blast for the kids and take very little prep work.
Doesn't this look neat? Makes you want to just dive in, doesn't it?
