We then drew an outline of a carrot on a piece of cardboard. Miss 6 wanted to do this herself so she drew the carrot outlines for everyone and then I cut them out.

Next, we squirted some orange and green paint in our paint container and painted our carrots.

The kids had a blast with this book themed craft and really enjoyed painting on something different than paper or canvas.

You could also glue some green crinkle paper on top and add googly eyes or a face on your carrot if you’d like.
