What to Do

  1. Begin by squirting your hair gel into a ziplock bag. We used sandwich-sized bags but you could use gallon-sized bags if you prefer. Ocean Sensory Bag - an easy non messy quiet time activity for kids - click through to see how we made them

  5. Seal your bag (removing as much air as possible) and add packing tape to the seal to ensure the bag doesn’t open during play. Ocean Sensory Bag - an easy non messy quiet time activity for kids - click through to see how we made them
  6. Play! You could also encourage your child to make patterns with the objects. You could also place the bag in the fridge until chilled for a fun cool-down activity during summertime!

I really like how you are using your sensory bag as something other than simply a squishy bag.bwe make at least one new squish bag per week, but I just use them to squish... Literally. I don't ever use them for an "activity."

So I love how here you can use them for patterns and matching!
