Our children love playing with our themed rice kits and will spend hours with them, day after day.

Supplies You’ll Need to Make Your Own Dino Sensory Kit
- Rice
- Large bin or container
- Food coloring
- Dinosaurs
- Wood discs
- Stones
- Eggs
- Faux plants
- Scoopers
How to Dye Rice for the Sensory Bin
- Place several cups of rice in a gallon-sized baggie.
- Add a few drops of food coloring.
- Seal the bag and shake!
- Once the color has been evenly distributed, pour the rice on parchment paper, a cookie sheet, or paper towels to dry.
- Once dry, place the rice in your bin.
How to Make Your Own Dinosaur Sensory Bin
- Place your rice in the bin – we used brown, blue, and green rice and arranged it to make it appear as though there was a pond, a grassy area, and some dirt in our scene.
- Add wood discs, gems, and plants.
- Add eggs, dinosaurs, and some scoopers.
- Invite your child to play!
I love making sensory bins – it is so fun setting them up and the kids absolutely love playing with them. It’s always fun to hear and see their imaginations come to life as they play with a sensory bin.
