There’s nothing better than bringing home a new book from an afternoon at the bookstore!

We absolutely love children’s books and always seem to navigate towards those with beautiful illustrations, an important lesson to learn, something with an educational component, or that are just plain fun and silly!

Today we’re sharing five darling books from one of our favorite illustrators, Betsy Snyder. If you don’t own these books, this post is for you!

Haiku Baby is a great book for smaller ones as it comes as a sturdy board book. It has gorgeous illustrations, all done with a nature theme. We also love the tabs along the side of the book which make it extra easy for little hands to turn each page.  5 Darling Bedtime Books for Kids. Have You Ever Tickled a Tiger? This is another great book for younger children as it has thick sturdy pages filled with six different textures. What we love about this book is that it isn’t your usual touch-and-feel book. Have You Ever Tickled a Tiger? features ostrich feathers, walrus whiskers, and armadillo scales, to name a few. Pick up a copy of this book and we’re certain your little one will be begging you to read this to them one more time.

Continue reading our list below (the last one is extra silly!) and then see this list from a fellow blogger on more even more bedtime board books like Goodnight Moon.

Sweet Dreams Lullaby has the sweetest storyline and the illustrations are beyond adorable! We’ve been so tempted to buy a second copy of this book and cut out and frame some of the pages to decorate our little one’s room. We could read this book all night long! 5 Darling Bedtime Books for Kids. Read More on The Art Kit Blog or Pin for Later. https://www.theartkitblog.com

Peanut Butter and Jellyfishes is one of the cutest, silliest, fun-filled books, and is jam-packed with adorable illustrations. Your little ones will beg you to read it again and again and you won’t mind at all! It is just that cute! We also love that this book teaches children about the alphabet in such a fun way! There are little hidden images on each page that the kids just love looking for each time. 5 Darling Bedtime Books for Kids. Do you own any of these books? Do you love them? Or maybe we’ve inspired you to add a few new titles to your library. What are your bedtime story routines? There’s nothing better than your little ones cuddling up with you as you read to them. Every night we hear the sweetest words, “Just one more book, please?” and with these darling books as an option, how can we say no?

We certainly love books but it’s easy to lose them on the bookshelf so we like to keep a small basket beside the shelf that we use to keep rotated with new books every few nights but somehow these books always make their way back in the basket. Do you have any tips for organizing books? Do your little ones have a favorite book that they beg you to read each night? What about YOUR favorite children’s book? We’d love to hear! Tell us in the comment section below!

Oh my! We are a book family, and haven't ever read these books! I will have to do some deal shopping and grab them! That haiku baby looks super amazing. Our favorites for my 3yaer old lately have bene the 5-minute bedtime story books of one sort or another. I' think she likes them because they take waaaay more than 5-mins to read. BUT, she acts the stories out the next day.... so she's def paying attention!
