Thoughts on Kumon Let’s Cut Paper and Kumon Let’s Cut Paper Amazing Animals
The bottom line is kids love to cut! So, why not let them cut things that will keep them engaged and learning (rather than cutting something they shouldn’t be – like their shirt or their sibling’s hair).
If your toddler or preschooler has tired of cutting paper scraps, it just might be time to graduate to a Kumon book! We recently had the opportunity to review their scissor skills books – Let’s Cut Paper and Let’s Cut Paper Amazing Animals.
They were both super cute and kept Miss 2 and Miss 4 engaged while big sisters worked on their schoolwork.
The paper is thick enough that it won’t easily rip but not too thick that it’s difficult to cut.
The cutting activities are varied so it isn’t just one simple “cut this line” activity after another.
If you have a preschooler or toddler, I would highly recommend Kumon Let’s Cut Paper.
These Kumon Let’s Cut Paper activity books are available to purchase from Timberdoodle. You can purchase items separately or bundled together in curriculum kits. We’ve purchased many items from Timberdoodle over the years – they have SO many fun and educational products, oftentimes priced lower than other retailers.
If you aren’t familiar with Timberdoodle, they offer fantastic learning products for babies all the way up to high school students. We have used their curriculum for many years and have been very happy with not only their products but their amazing customer service as well. Not a homeschooling family? That’s fine too! They have an entire shop of products that would make the perfect gift for any child.
