What You’ll Need

Ladybug printable (find it FREE here)

Scissors

Glue stick or liquid glue

Hole punch (optional)

Buttons, pom poms, sequins (optional)

We typically either purchase our craft supplies through Amazon.com or Discount School Supply (they have high-quality supplies that are very reasonably priced.)

What to Do

Begin by printing off the first sheet in the ladybug printable pack (if you haven’t downloaded it, you can sign up here and download it for free).

Next, cut out the ladybug (or have your child, depending on their ability) and either cut out the ladybug spots or punch them out. Kids typically love doing both so ask them what they’d prefer. Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect – that’s what makes it so special. Encourage your child to complete the work on this project – teach them how to safely use scissors and encourage them (if they are old enough) to cut out the pieces for this activity; doing so will increase their self-confidence.

Then, glue the spots on the ladybug. You could also paste buttons, pom poms, or sequins on the ladybug. Or, you could even draw spots on the ladybug with crayons or markers.
