Looking for a ridiculously easy cut-and-paste craft for kids? Today we’re sharing a simple cutting and pasting activity from our ladybug activity bundle. This is the perfect activity for preschoolers, toddlers, and even children in grade school. Please continue reading below for all the fun details + how to download your set for free!
This ladybug craft is the perfect springtime (or anytime!) craft!
What You’ll Need
- Ladybug printable (more details on how to get your copy below)
- Scissors
- Glue stick or liquid glue
- Hole punch (optional)
- Buttons, pom poms, sequins (optional)
What to Do
Begin by printing off the first sheet in the ladybug printable pack.
Next, cut out the ladybug (or have your child, depending on their ability) and either cut out the ladybug spots or punch them out.
Kids typically love doing both so ask them what they’d prefer.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect – that’s what makes it so special.
Encourage your child to complete the work on this project – teach them how to safely use scissors and encourage them (if they are old enough) to cut out the pieces for this activity; doing so will increase their self-confidence.
Then, glue the spots on the ladybug. You could also paste buttons, pom poms, or sequins on the ladybug.
Or, you could even draw spots on the ladybug with crayons or markers.
How did your children enjoy this activity? Let us know in the comment section below. We also have a watermelon cutting and pasting craft you might enjoy as well.
If you’d like to save this for later, don’t forget to pin it for later.
