We took our one pot playdough recipe and added coffee essential oil and it smelled just like a freshly brewed pot of coffee! If you love the smell of coffee, you’ll love this playdough recipe!
What You’ll Need
- Homemade playdough
- Coffee essential oil
- Food coloring (optional)
- Coffee beans (optional)
What to Do
We started by making a batch of our one pot playdough. Once it had cooled down a bit, we added a few drops of food coloring and several drops of coffee essential oil.
The kids weren’t too interested in the coffee playdough (they were busy playing with their tangerine playdough) but it does make a great sensory activity for coffee-loving parents! 🙂 You could pinch off a bit of the playdough and mush it around in your hand throughout the day. It’s also perfect to breathe in a bit of that coffee scent when you feel like you need a bit of a boost but it’s too late for that cup of coffee!
