One of the pages notes that "In Greek mythology, Medusa had live snakes for hair" and then asks the student to list problems that someone with snakes for hair would have, and then draw a portrait of Medusa.

Your child will be asked to write adjectives that begin with an S that describe snakes, to complete snake word problems, compose a short rhyming poem, illustrate the poem, and write down how many different kinds of snakes they know.

Don't worry though, if snakes aren't your thing, there are many different topics, such as:

Trees
Mountains
Dolphins and whales
Cars
The supermarket
Sticky stuff
Hats and caps
And many, many more!
