The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible Review
Books are my weakness. I love curling up with a good book. Curling up with a good book and my kids is even better! So when I was given the opportunity to review a new book, I was thrilled. The Spirit of God – Illustrated Bible – includes over 40 stories of God’s power and presence.

I absolutely LOVED the full-color pages. The images in the book were a bit more cartoony than I typically like but if you don’t mind that sort of thing, the graphics in this book may not even be an issue for you.
Each story started out with the book it was based on, as well as a direct quote from the Bible, making it very easy to read more about each story directly from the Bible if desired. Then, the story was summarized in the author’s own words. The style of writing was very easy to read and understand; for example, “God looked at what he had created and said, ‘This is really good.”
