There were so many incredible stories but perhaps my favorite was the story about a boy who called his mother from school and asked if he could bring home a chicken.
Not only did she say yes but she told him to bring home two!
The mother was quite surprised when she arrived at her son’s school to find him holding a kitten.
“That’s not a chicken,” she said as he climbed in the car.
It was then that she realized he had said “kitten” and not “chicken.” 😂
My daughters, ages five to thirteen, all loved the book just as much as I did. What a great gift for any cat lover!
