What’s So Great About Master Books’ Math Curriculum?
One of the things I love most about Master Books is their unwavering dedication to infusing biblical truths into every subject.
What sets Master Books apart is their eclectic approach to education. Drawing from years of homeschooling experience, they’ve crafted a curriculum that embraces the best of various teaching methods and philosophies. Whether your child thrives in a traditional setting or prefers hands-on learning, Master Books provides the flexibility to tailor education to your child’s unique needs and interests.
If you feel like you haven’t quite found the math right curriculum for your family, or feel like something is missing, I recommend you look at Master Books; you may find it’s just what you’ve been searching for!
But perhaps what I appreciate most is the ease of implementation. Having an open-and-go curriculum is a huge help! I also absolutely love their included daily schedules – they are so well organized.
Answer keys are available online and worksheets and quizzes are included throughout the course.
The lessons take about 30 minutes each.
Miss 7 was excited to work through this math book. We started off with exercise one which covered place value. To help the child best understand the concept, they included a video link and “Place Value Village.”
If you don’t want to incorporate a huge amount of manipulatives and activities into your math lessons, you will most likely appreciate Master Books’ format. The lessons are simple and we loved their open and go method and ease of use! If you are teaching multiple ages (or just have multiple ages at home), the manageable, 20-30 minutes lessons are very much appreciated!
And, because I know some of you may be wondering how this math curriculum compares to other curriculum, if you’re familiar with The Good and the Beautiful, for example, I believe The Good and the Beautiful leans towards a more spiral approach, while Master Books is mastery-based with spiral reviews of concepts. So, depending on what you are looking for, will determine which curriculum would be best for your child.
Stories are woven throughout the textbook, which Miss 7 enjoyed.
I love that the assignments are manageable and fun.
My daughter had fun working through the assignments and kept asking to complete more than the required lessons for the day.

Another feature that I love – and it’s so simple – is that the pages are perforated and three hole-punched so if you choose to remove the pages you need for the day, you can do so and then easily store them in a binder.
