Summer is here and it is HOT! You know what that means – we’re back with even more fun ice cream printables. We recently worked on a fun ice cream alphabet matching craft and it was so fun! We painted, sequined, and glued – all while singing our ABC’s. And then the kids tossed a few dozen pom poms in the air … all over the living room … for the next hours … but that’s a story for another day … 🙂 To see all the fun, please continue reading below.

Want to save money on printer ink + never run out of ink again?
We recently signed up for the HP Instant Ink program and are loving it!
They offer several different plans (such as $4.99 for 100 pages a month) and will automatically send you new cartridges before you even need them.
We are now saving SO MUCH money (and time) on ink and I don’t feel guilty printing out new printables and playdough mats each day.
If you want to check it out, ordering through our link here will give you 1 free month.
You can use just about any HP printer but we’ve been using this compact one and absolutely love it! The color is gorgeous and matches my decor (we’ll call that a win!) and the size is smaller than any printer I’ve ever owned which is great for small spaces (or living room/dining room offices).
Between HP Instant Ink and our compact printer, my printing life truly has become so much easier to print all these fun playdough mats and activity sheets we’ve been making lately.
Back to the craft …
Begin by printing the alphabet letter pack and painting or coloring them in. We used watercolors but you could also use crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Glitter glue would also be fun!
These would be fun to munch on while you work!
Once your paintings are dry, cut the ice cream cone and ice cream scoop letters and glue their pairs together.
Next, glue on sequins (sprinkles) and red pom poms (cherries) to make your ice cream complete.
Once dry, use your cards to practice letters or string them together to make your own alphabet letter garland. You could even spell your child’s name out with the letters and string them together to make their own personalized name banner.
