What to Do
Using simple objects (most likely items you already have at home), you can quickly put together one (or several) fun filled treasure bags of objects for your little one to use to glue together.
You can either go on a scavenger hunt throughout your home by yourself or ask your little ones for help (or check out your local craft store or dollar store).
You can create different themed bags if you’d like or you can simply add random objects to your bag. We like to create a few different bags and rotate them to keep things new and exciting.
Once you have your bag of treasures, you will be able to very easily pull everything out next time.
Once you have selected your items, place them on a craft tray (not required, but trust us on this- you will be so glad to have this project contained to a tray!) along with a small bowl of glue, a paintbrush, and some paper.
We also suggest placing a baby wipe or two next to the tray as well to wipe those sticky fingers when they’re done.
What’s great about this craft is that it’s just a great quiet activity that allows for open-ended creativity. You will be amazed at what your little ones will create (our little ones have created everything from sculptures made from wooden spools to paper plate faces and jeweled mosaics).
The creative possibilities are truly endless with this craft and we know you will love it as much as we do!
