Have you recently purchased ball bearings? Did you notice how greasy they were? Perhaps you wanted to use them to make your own fidget spinner.
They’re easy to clean – we’ll show you how! Read on to see just how easy it is.
We’ve been having such a blast making our own fidget spinners and sharing them with you that we realized it would be helpful to also show how to degrease those new ball bearings.
What You’ll Need
What to Do
Begin by removing the top and bottom covers on the ball bearings using a micro flat head screwdriver.
Next, place them in your bowl of rubbing alcohol and brush clean until the grease has been removed.
Remove from the bowl, wipe dry, and reattach the top and bottom covers (you should hear them snap back in).
Here’s a before and after. Better, right?
