Wondering how to make your own fidget spinner? Have you heard all the excitement about fidget spinners? They’re great for calming nerves and decreasing anxiety. Read on to see how we made our own fidget spinner in just minutes.
We’re super excited to share our latest activity with you. Today we’re sharing how we quickly made a fidget spinner from Wikki Stix (you know, those awesome waxy yarn strings).
What You’ll Need
What to Do
Begin by degreasing your ball bearings. See our easy DIY here. Next, wrap one Wikki Stix around each bearing.
Then, press each of the bearings to each other, shaping them into a triangle (like the classic fidget spinner shape).
Next, add an outside border of Wiki Stix around the perimeter of the fidget spinner. This will help to hold everything together.
You could also wrap another Wikki Stix around the top of the center bearing if you’d like.
Now, enjoy your homemade fidget spinner and spin away! See it in action here.
How did your fidget spinner turn out? Did you and the kids love it?
