Celebrating Women’s History: A Fun Cut-and-Paste Worksheet for Kids!
March is Women’s History Month, and it’s the perfect time to teach kids about the incredible women who shaped our world! Whether you’re homeschooling or looking to enrich your classroom activities, today I’m sharing a special cut-and-paste worksheet that celebrates the achievements of eight amazing women.
This activity is designed for kids to learn more about the contributions of these historical figures while practicing important skills like cutting, pasting, and reading comprehension. Plus, it’s a great way to make history fun!

The worksheet includes an informative sheet with details about each woman’s incredible achievements. Children can cut out the descriptions of these inspiring women and match them with the correct name. It’s a hands-on way for kids to learn about:
- Rosa Parks
Known as the “Mother of the Civil Rights Movement,” Rosa Parks made history when she refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus, sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott. She fought for equality. - Marie Curie

Jane Goodall is one of the world’s leading experts on chimpanzees. She spent years studying these them in the wild. - Maya Angelou
Maya Angelou was an acclaimed poet, author, and civil rights activist. - Sacagawea
Sacagawea was a Shoshone woman who played a crucial role in the Lewis and Clark Expedition. As a guide and interpreter, she helped the explorers navigate the wilderness, and her knowledge and bravery were vital to their success.
How the Cut-and-Paste Worksheet Works:
The worksheet includes:
- An Info Sheet: A brief bio of each woman’s accomplishments and their place in history.
- Cut-and-Paste Activity: Children will cut out the descriptions of these women and paste them next to their names. This will help them engage with the information while learning about these powerful women in history.
- A Fun Coloring Option: After matching the names and descriptions, kids can color in the squares.
