What to Do

Begin by putting a little bit of hot glue onto your styrofoam ball and begin placing your pom poms onto the glue. Miss 7 and I worked on this craft together but if you have younger children working on this Christmas craft, this glue would probably be a good alternative to hot glue.

Continue gluing your pom poms on until the ball is completely covered.

Next, cut a bit of yarn and tie a knot at the end. Put a bit of glue onto the ball, in between the pom poms, and press the yarn with the knotted end, into the ball. We used tweezers to press the yarn into the glue to avoid getting burned. You could also attach the yarn before you attach the pom poms, which would probably be the easier alternative. 🙂
