If you’re looking for a fantastic-smelling Christmas tree slime, this is it! We added kid-safe Christmas tree essential oils to our easy-peasy slime recipe and made the ultimate Christmas tree slime. It smells absolutely AMAZING! Read on below to see how it all came together.
What You’ll Need
- White glue
- Liquid starch
- Christmas tree essential oil blend
- Green glitter
- Mixing bowl and spoon
- 1/2 cup measuring cup
- Cookie cutter
What to Do
Begin by pouring 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of white glue into your mixing bowl. Mix well.
Next, add in your glitter and several drops of Christmas tree essential oil (we used about 8 drops but you can add more or less depending on how strong you’d like your scent). Mix well.
Now, add in 1/2 cup of liquid starch and mix well. After a minute or so of mixing (when it starts to clump up), you can mix it in your hands. It takes about 5-10 minutes to really begin to look like slime. Be patient – keep working it and before you know it, you’ll have the perfect Christmas tree slime!
This Christmas tree slime smelled SO good! The kids played with it for hours and I had fun playing with it too. It’s such a great sensory activity.
The kids had fun using cookie cutters, silicone molds, and sparkly gems with their Christmas tree slime.
