Looking for a fun Christmas craft to do with the kids? Check out this jumbo cut and paste Christmas tree craft! We’ve included everything you need to create and decorate this cute Christmas tree. You can download and print the files below.
It’s perfect for preschoolers, kindergartners, and even older children. You could even laminate the pieces and then attach adhesive dots to the ornaments to create a busy-book sort of Christmas activity the kids can use year after year!

Materials you’ll need:
- Cardstock (ideal) or printer paper to print out our Christmas tree and decorations template.
- Markers, colored pencils, watercolor paints, or crayons
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Stickers (optional)
- Decorative elements like gems, ribbon, buttons, or beads (optional)
We included three different-sized ornaments, candy canes, and Christmas lights, so you can sort them on the tree by small, medium, or large (a great preschool or kindergarten activity), or select the size that best suits your child’s cutting ability.
You can color your tree and decorations or, you could print them on colored paper and cut and paste. You could even decorate the tree with stickers, gems, magazine clippings, tissue paper, construction paper, pom poms, or other craft supplies you have on hand.
