Supplies You’ll Need:

  • 2 paper plates
  • Blue paint (or blue construction paper)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Clear plastic wrap or a sealable bag (for the “aquarium glass” effect) (we used a gallon sealable bag)
  • Printable sea creature template (download below)
  • Markers, crayons, or colored pencils - or, these (they give buttery-smooth coverage)
  • Optional: Glitter, sequins, or tissue paper for extra decoration

Instructions:

1. Paint the Paper Plate
Paint the inside of the paper plate blue to create an ocean background. Let it dry completely. If you prefer, glue blue construction paper inside instead!
