Germ Buster {A Fun Activity for Kids}

Today we're sharing a super simple and fun activity for the kids that is also great for practicing eye-hand coordination.
We took our one-pot playdough recipe and added germ destroyer essential oil and put together a very simple activity for the kids. Read on to see how we put it all together.
What You'll Need
- Homemade playdough
- Germ destroyer essential oil
- Food coloring
- Mini rolling pin (we have two rolling pins and this is our favorite-it's just like a real rolling pin but for smaller hands)
- Tweezers (we used ours from this set but you could also use these)
What to Do
We started by making a batch of our one-pot playdough. Once it had cooled down a bit, we added a few drops of food coloring, kneaded it until the color was incorporated, then added a couple drops of germ destroyer essential oil and kneaded it a bit more.
We then rolled out the playdough and sprinkled some pom poms on top. We then pressed the pom poms down a bit into the playdough so they wouldn't roll away.
The kids then tweezed the "germs" aka pom poms out of the playdough one by one and placed them in a bowl (or in our case, silicon cupcake liners).
It's such a simple activity but the kids really enjoyed it and it's so great for eye-hand coordination and working on those motor skills.
