Live Teaching with Real Support

One of the biggest challenges with online learning is making sure students stay engaged and have access to real help when they need it. It can be easy to get lost in the shuffle but fortunately, Mrs. Peters’ Math solves this problem with her live, interactive classes where students can ask questions in real time. She’s so receptive to any questions her students ask during class and it truly felt as though we were really sitting there in class.

The support doesn’t end when class is over, though! Students can also reach out via messaging, ensuring that help is always available if needed.

Classes meet 3 hours per week with a live teacher – Mrs. Peters – which is a huge help for students and parents – especially when it comes to upper level math courses.

The classes available include Grade 6, Grade 7, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Consumer Math. Classes are live and online but also recorded should a student miss class for any reason.

My daughter and I watched several of the live classes together and loved Mrs. Peters’ teaching style and how kind she was when any of the students asked her questions about the assignments.

There is a chat option so it’s easy to ask questions during class – just as if you were attending the class in-person.

I also really loved the sense of community among the students – if that’s something your child has been missing, I think they will really appreciate that aspect!

Beyond Just a Lesson

Each lesson goes beyond a simple lecture. Students get access to online games, practice worksheets, activities, and a reference textbook. This variety of resources helps cater to different learning styles, reinforcing concepts in a way that makes sense for each student.

I loved all the interactive activities – my daughter thought they were really fun and unique! I also really appreciated that there are so many different ways to learn the concepts – so whether your child is a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or reading/writing type of learner – they will find the support they need to succeed.

All the classes are provided with a free, online textbook for reference purposes (Mrs. Peters doesn’t teach from the textbook) which is great – especially if you are tight on space or want to be able to study anywhere!

Assignments That Make Learning Fun

Let’s be honest — math can be a challenge and math homework isn’t always a child’s favorite activity. But Mrs. Peters makes assignments engaging with fun, digital activities that give instant feedback. I couldn’t get over the amount of interactive activities available for the lessons! They were so engaging and fun! I loved that your child can work through the assignments and see right away which concepts they may need to review more.

If your child loves games or interactive activities, I really believe they are going to especially love this math program!

The assignments are so engaging and fun – your child will hardly know they are working on math assignments because it feels so much like a fun online game instead.

Accountability with Built-in Flexibility

While this isn’t a self-paced course, Mrs. Peters offers generous 10-day due dates on assignments. This gives families flexibility for sick days, travel, or special outings while still maintaining a structured learning schedule. The consistent deadlines keep students accountable, preventing them from falling behind. This feels like the perfect option for homeschoolers!

Recordings for Convenience

Missed a class? No problem! All classes are recorded, so students can revisit lessons whenever needed. Whether they weren’t able to attend or just need a refresher, having access to past classes is a huge benefit and I loved that at any time, you can view a past class. With in-person classes, you don’t have this option, so I loved that you can re-watch any live class at any time.

Parental Access

This is huge! With a dedicated class portal, parents can easily track assignments, grades, and class announcements. Plus, Mrs. Peters welcomes parent communication, making it easy to address any concerns along the way. The portal is so easy to navigate and to keep track of how your student is doing in class.

From the portal you can view your student’s grades, assignments, class announcements, modules, and more!
