What to Do

Sometimes we laminate our playdough mats and sometimes we slip them into sheet protectors and tuck them in a 3-ring binder. Laminating is a bit more durable but if your little ones aren’t too rambunctious with their playdough mats, sheet protectors should work just fine.

If you’d like to reuse the sheets, simply laminate them and use them with playdough, gems, beads, or buttons.

You could also set out some sequins, glitter glue, buttons, feathers, and scraps of fabric and invite your child to decorate their ballerina by gluing the objects onto the ballerina.

We are pretty big LEGO fans around here (particularly LEGO Friends fans), so we thought it was high time we customized our LEGO Friends and decided what better way than with DIY LEGO capes for our mini figures. The kids and I had so much fun painting and decorating our LEGO capes and we were so happy with how well they turned out. If you have LEGO fans at your house, read on to see how we made these awesome capes with supplies we already had at home. @theartkit
