Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Wreath Base
Start by cutting out the center of the paper plate, leaving only the outer ring. This will be the base of your wreath.
Step 2: Color and Cut Out the Flowers and Leaves
Using our free printable template (see link below), cut out different flower shapes and leaves. Color them in.
Step 3: Paint the Paper Plate
Paint the paper plate green.
Step 4: Attach the Flowers
Glue the flowers around the paper plate ring until it’s completely covered. You can layer flowers to make the wreath look fuller. Don’t forget the leaves! You can also attach gems to the wreath.
Step 5: Add a Ribbon (Optional)
If you want to hang the wreath, punch a hole at the top of the paper plate and thread a piece of ribbon or yarn through it. Tie a knot to create a loop for hanging.
Ways to Customize Your Wreath
- Add green paper leaves between the flowers.
- Use different sized paper plates.
- Add glitter or sequins for extra sparkle.
- Hang with ribbon.
