Looking for a fun fall activity to do with the kids? Check out this jumbo fall reading chart! We’ve included everything you need to create this cute fall tree. After you’ve read a book, write the title of it on a leaf and place it on your tree. At the end of the season, you can see all the books that were read that season!
What a fun way to record your reading for fall!
It’s perfect for preschoolers, kindergartners, and even older children. You could even laminate the pieces and then attach adhesive dots to the leaves to create a reusable reading chart that the kids can use year after year.

Materials You’ll Need:
- Cardstock (ideal) or printer paper to print out our fall tree and leaves.
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
How to Assemble the Fall Reading Chart
Cut out the tree and leaves. Once the tree has been cut out, you can either tape it to the wall or to a poster board.
How to Use the Fall Reading Chart
We included three different-colored leaves with lines to write the title of each book.
After reading a book, write the name of the book on a leaf and either place it on the tree or in a pile on the bottom.
Then, at the end of the season, you will have a fun visual of all the books you read!
