Winnie-the-Pooh was my absolute favorite as a child!
I absolutely love Blueberries for Sal! I loved it as a child, and it still makes me laugh when I read it to my kids. But some of these books I've never read, and need to look for, like Home in the Woods!
I choose Winnie-the-Pooh because I loved it so much as a child. I have wonderful memories reading with my Dad and want to carry that special tradition.

Wonder Walkers!
I chose Wonder Walkers because the title of the book begs us to want to know more! This is how I became a lover of reading and I want to share the same "good book" curiosity with my son! The book also has several different types of activities in the study unit which I feel could be geared to several types of learning approaches.
I’m going to have to say Secret Garden! Even though I’ve read it with my kids before, it’s such a wonderful story.
It’s probably my favorite because it is set in Britain and we would totally have to have a tea party. 🙂
I love The carrot seed book! There is something about the simple illustrations and the way the boy looks that brings me back to my childhood
Summertime in the big woods! I have LOVED little house on the prairie since I was a little girl about the same age Laura is in that first book. I am excited to share the ingalls family with my own kiddos!
The Keeper of Wild Words. We found this book at the library last year and I thought it was so charming but also what an important message.
