- Cardstock paper
- Scissors
- Clothespins
How to Prepare These ABC Picture Match Cards
- Print out the cards
- Cut along the outer edges
How to Use These ABC Picture Match Cards
- Place the cards out for your child along with a bowl of clothespins.
- Invite your child to match the image on the card to the letter it starts with.
- They can place a clothespin or crumbled-up piece of paper on the correct letter.
- You could also laminate the cards and they could circle or trace the letter with a dry-erase marker.
- Or, invite your child to draw the picture on the card on a separate piece of paper.
- Or, invite your child to tell you a story using the image on the card.
