From the company that brought you The Peaceful Preschool, The Playful Pioneers, and a handful of month-long unit studies, comes The Kind Kingdom, a European history curriculum for elementary students.
The Kind Kingdom is a Charlotte Mason inspired guide to European history for elementary students that will lead you through daily readings designed to provide a 30-week overview of major events in Europe, using the Chronicles of Narnia, Grimm’s Fairy Tales, and Beautiful Stories From Shakespeare as a spine.
The student sheets include Bible verses, hand-drawn illustrations, poetry, and quotes in both print and cursive. These sheets will help your child with beginning composition and grammar, form drawing, handwriting, and vocabulary skills as they trace or copy their page.
The Kind Kingdom also includes recipes to correspond with the weekly lessons. You will expand the skills you learned in The Playful Pioneers and The Peaceful Preschool to give your child opportunities to connect more deeply with the time period and the people they are studying through these recipes.
The Kind Kingdom also includes art prints to coincide with the weekly lessons in the parent guide, covering a range of artists including Monet, daVinci, Nash, Constable, and more.
