How to Use and Organize Your United States Map Outlines

  • You can use these state printables as a resource when studying geography – first, study the map with the states included and then try labeling the states on the blank map page.
  • You could also use the map templates to study the different regions by coloring each of them in a different color.
  • Going on a road trip? Clip a page on a clipboard and each time you enter a state line (or see a car with a license plate from a different state), color in that state on the map!
  • If you’d like, you can either hole punch them and place them in a binder or bind them to create our own US map book!
  • You could even cut them out a bit (or print them two to a page) and paste them into a spiral notebook along with your other printables or coloring pages.
