The kids had a blast and it was a great quiet winter craft to do inside. You can easily make these too, and with only a few needed supplies, they’re the perfect next craft to make this winter season. To see all the fun, please continue reading below.

What to Do
Begin by hot gluing your popsicle sticks together to make a snowflake. We used four sticks but you could use more if you’d like. Just put a little dab on the middle and gently press the sticks togethers, continuing this until you’ve attached all four (or more) popsicle sticks.
Next, paint your popsicle sticks. Once dry, set them out along with the glue and gems or buttons and invite your child to decorate their popsicle stick snowflakes.

We all had a blast making these sparkly popsicle stick snowflakes!
Miss 7 had fun making swirls and lines with glitter glue.
Miss 4 had a blast using glitter glue as well.
Miss 19 months also really enjoyed decorating her popsicle stick snowflakes. We tried a different brand of glitter glue this time, which we really liked, as it gave us greater control when using it, but it was a little harder for Miss 19 months to squeeze out, so I helped her with the glue and she pressed on the gems.
You could also prep this craft ahead of time by gluing all the snowflakes together or even painting them ahead of time as well. This would make a great group project because it’s just so simple and fun.
