How to Make Slime Without Liquid Starch

Have you ever wondered how to make slime without liquid starch? Today we’re going to show you how! Whether liquid starch isn’t available in your area or you simply want to try a new slime recipe, we’ve perfected our slime recipe and will share it with you below!
To make it even easier, we made our slime in a jar! This is the best and easiest slime recipe you’ll find! No mess, easy to make, and fun for the kids and adults! Not only is this homemade slime super easy to make but it’s also super stretchy. We’ve also included a free printable recipe card to print out + added a video tutorial as well! What You’ll Need
- White glue or, from Target here
- Water
- Baking soda
- Saline solution
- Food coloring
- Glitter (optional)
- Mixing bowl and spoon
- Measuring cups and spoons

What to Do
Begin by pouring 1 cup of glue, 1/4 cup of water, 4 tablespoons of saline solution (this is the exact one we used), 1/2 of a teaspoon of baking soda, and a few drops of food coloring into your jar.

Fasten the lid to your jar.
Shake for about 30-60 seconds
Once the slime pulls away from the jar, it’s ready to use!
Take the slime out of your jar, add in a few cookie cutters, gems, or small figurines, and invite your child to play!
