If you have been curious about Cowboy Colostrum—especially the new Cookies & Cream flavor—I tried it, and I have thoughts. The short version? Cookies & Cream is amazing, the rechargeable frother actually works, and this has become an easy way for me to mix colostrum with the other powdered supplements I already use.
Cowboy Colostrum currently comes in six flavors: Cookies & Cream, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Unflavored, and Matcha. I’ll walk you through the choices, what makes the product different, how I prepare it, and whether I think the starter kit is worth buying.

What Is Cowboy Colostrum?
Colostrum is the first milk mammals produce after giving birth. It naturally contains nutrients and bioactive components, including immunoglobulins and growth factors.
Cowboy Colostrum says its product is made with whole, first-day bovine colostrum sourced from grass-fed dairy cows on U.S. farms. According to the company, calves receive what they need first, and the remaining colostrum is collected during the first day after birth.
Each serving contains 3 grams of colostrum. The company also says its colostrum is third-party tested and made without gums, fillers, or artificial flavors. Those details were important to me because if I am adding something to my routine regularly, I want to know what is—and is not—in the bottle.
My Honest Cowboy Colostrum Cookies & Cream Review
Let’s begin with the most important question: Does it actually taste good?
Yes. The Cookies & Cream flavor is amazing.
It is made with whole grass-fed colostrum, organic cacao, Madagascar vanilla, and monk fruit. It gives me the fun Cookies & Cream flavor I was hoping for without turning my daily supplement routine into something that tastes like a supplement routine. You know the kind: the drink you bravely swallow while trying not to let your face reveal what just happened.
I can genuinely look forward to drinking this one.
It blends well, too. I use the frother that comes with the starter kit, and it quickly mixes the powder into my drink without leaving me with a layer of stubborn clumps floating on top.
I also add other powdered supplements to the same drink. The frother has enough power to blend everything together well, which makes my routine simpler and leaves me with fewer cups to wash.

Is the Cowboy Colostrum Frother Worth It?
I think it is—especially if you are purchasing Cowboy Colostrum for the first time.
The frother:
- Mixes the colostrum smoothly and quickly
- Works well when I add other powdered supplements
- Is rechargeable, so I do not have to keep buying batteries
- Makes it easier to prepare one drink instead of stirring several powders by hand
You do not absolutely need a frother to use colostrum, but it makes mixing much faster and easier. Since Cowboy Colostrum recommends using a frother for the best mixing results, the starter kit is a convenient way to get everything together.
Cowboy Colostrum Flavors: Which One Should You Choose?
Cowboy Colostrum currently offers six flavors. I have not personally taste-tested every flavor yet, but I can tell you that Cookies & Cream is delicious and the rest of the lineup gives you options based on how you want to use it.
Cookies & Cream
This is the flavor I tried and the one I can personally recommend. It contains organic cacao, Madagascar vanilla, and monk fruit. Choose this one if you want a drink that feels like a treat and you enjoy chocolate-and-vanilla flavors.

Vanilla
Vanilla is likely the most versatile flavored option. It could work well in milk, smoothies, coffee, or yogurt when you want a little sweetness without a strong chocolate or fruit flavor.

Chocolate
Chocolate may be the best place to start if you already enjoy chocolate protein drinks, chocolate milk, or mocha-style beverages. It is an easy flavor to pair with milk or add to a smoothie.

Strawberry
Strawberry is a fun option for anyone who prefers fruity drinks. I would be especially curious to try this one blended into a berry smoothie or mixed with milk.

Unflavored
Unflavored gives you the most flexibility. It makes sense if you want to mix colostrum into a smoothie, yogurt, or another flavored drink without changing its taste very much.
Matcha
Matcha is for the green-tea crowd. If a matcha latte is already part of your routine, this option may fit into your day more naturally than a dessert-inspired flavor.

How I Mix Cowboy Colostrum
My routine is very simple:
- Add my liquid to a cup.
- Add one scoop of Cowboy Colostrum.
- Add any other powdered supplements I am using.
- Blend everything with the rechargeable frother until smooth.
Cowboy Colostrum says its powder can be mixed into water, milk, coffee, smoothies, or yogurt. I would avoid adding it to a piping-hot drink unless the company specifically confirms the temperature is suitable, since excessive heat may affect some of colostrum’s bioactive components. A cool, cold, or comfortably warm drink is the easy option.

What Are the Potential Benefits of Bovine Colostrum?
Bovine colostrum contains immunoglobulins, proteins, peptides, and other naturally occurring bioactive compounds. It is commonly used by adults who want nutritional support for areas such as gut health, immune function, recovery, and general wellness.
Cowboy Colostrum markets its product as supporting:
- Immune health
- Gut and digestive health
- Hair and skin health
- Exercise performance and recovery
Although results can vary from one person to another, I will say that I saw benefits pretty soon after starting.

What Makes Cowboy Colostrum Different?
Here are the product details that stood out to me:
- Whole, first-day bovine colostrum
- Sourced from grass-fed cows on U.S. dairy farms
- Calf-first sourcing policy
- 3 grams of colostrum per serving
- Third-party tested for purity and potency
- No gums or fillers
- Flavored varieties use ingredients such as cacao, vanilla, strawberry, matcha, and monk fruit, depending on the flavor
- Several flavors, including an unflavored option
- Starter kits available with a rechargeable frother

How Much Does Cowboy Colostrum Cost?
Prices and promotions can change, so I recommend checking the website for the current price before ordering. Cowboy Colostrum offers individual bottles, multipacks, starter kits, and subscription options. The Cookies & Cream Starter Kit is available in one- and two-bottle choices, and the two-bottle option provides 80 servings according to the product listing.
If you are new to the brand, compare the one-time purchase with the subscription carefully. A subscription may offer a larger initial discount, but choose it only if you are comfortable receiving recurring shipments. The company says subscriptions can be adjusted or canceled, but I always recommend reviewing the current terms at checkout.

Is Cowboy Colostrum Worth It?
Based on the flavor, mixability, and ease of using it, I have been very impressed with the Cookies & Cream Cowboy Colostrum and the frother.
It may be worth trying if you:
- Are already interested in adding bovine colostrum to your routine
- Want a flavored option you will enjoy drinking
- Prefer colostrum sourced from grass-fed U.S. dairy cows
- Care about third-party testing and a short ingredient list
- Want a rechargeable frother that can also mix other powdered supplements

For me, the Cookies & Cream flavor is the standout. It tastes genuinely good, blends easily, and fits into the supplement routine I already have. The rechargeable frother is not a throwaway bonus, either—I use it to blend everything together, and I love not having to hunt for batteries.
If you want to begin with the same flavor I tried, I would start with the Cookies & Cream Starter Kit. If Cookies & Cream is not your flavor—or if you want something more versatile—you can browse all Cowboy Colostrum flavors and bundles here.
