One Nation Under God is a complete American history course from Master Books designed primarily for students in grades 10–12, although motivated 9th graders can also succeed with the material. It provides one full high school social studies credit while exploring American history through a biblical worldview.
The course begins by examining the motivations behind European exploration and colonization and follows the story of America through the Revolutionary War, the Constitution, the Civil War, industrialization, the World Wars, and modern American history all the way through the most recent presidential election.
Rather than focusing solely on names and dates, the curriculum helps students understand the ideas, beliefs, motivations, and worldviews that shaped historical events.
One thing I appreciate is that students are encouraged to examine history through the lens of Scripture while also developing strong reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills.

The first thing I noticed was how organized everything looked.
The teacher guide is three-hole punched, which may seem like a small detail, but it is something I genuinely appreciate. It fits neatly into a binder, lays flat while working, and makes organizing homeschool materials incredibly easy.
The student textbook immediately caught my daughter’s attention.

What My Daughter Thinks
If I had to summarize my daughter’s experience in one sentence, it would be this:
She actually enjoys reading the textbook.
