- Food coloring (optional)

How to Make Your Sensory Bin: Step-by-Step
- Mix together cornstarch and water (equal parts).
- We added black food coloring to the water but you could mix cocoa powder or just leave it plain if you'd like.
- Add dinosaurs.
We added black food coloring to make it look more like the La Brea Tar Pits and while most of the food coloring washed off our hands, if you don't want to get that messy, you could omit the food coloring.
The kids had such a blast with this sensory bin! They scooped, poured, and created all sorts of fun with it!

Sensory Bin Clean Up Tips
Sensory play can get a bit messy, but here’s a tip: Lay a large sheet or plastic tablecloth underneath the bin to catch any stray rice. Once playtime is over, pour the leftover rice into a sealed container and store it for future play.
