We are big fans of sensory jars and bottles! We've made dozens of them over the years in all different types of themes but today we're sharing our starry night sensory jar with you!

Begin by emptying your water bottle. You can use just about any water bottle but we prefer using these because they are thick and sturdy and look great! You'll also want to remove the label from the bottle.

Sprinkle the glitter into the jar. We used a couple different types of glitter to add some extra interest to the bottle. We opted for this one and this one. Next, add in about a dozen or so stars.

Now, mix 1 part glycerin to 3 parts hot water in your measuring cup. You can use more or less glycerin depending on how slowly or quickly you want your stars and glitter to fall. Mix well and pour into jar. You could also add in a few drops of liquid watercolors (blue or purple look especially neat with this starry night theme) if you'd like.

Seal your water bottle tightly. You could also glue the lid on if you are worried about it coming off.
