What We’re Reading This Week – A Blog Round-Up {Week 2}

Welcome to The Art Kit’s blog round-up! Last week we shared some great tips for organizing; today we’re back to share what we’ve read this week. While we’ve been busy getting the word out about our new favorite STEAM book for kids, we wanted to be sure to take some time to share what some of our fellow bloggers have been working on.

As Told by Amy shared her top 5 reasons to be excited that summer is ending. This is a must read, especially if you are not ready for summer to end!

Freshly Messy started a kid-friendly link-up party (be sure to check it out!) and also shared two valuable ways to expand a preschooler’s vocabulary without reading– definitely worth the read! Plus, she shared a recipe for fall slime that we can’t wait to try.

Have you seen Mind Body and Soul after Baby’s redesigned site? It looks amazing! Stop by and see what she’s done and be sure to check out her Sweet 16 Challenge; it sounds terrific!

Working Mommy Abroad shared ten things you only realize after becoming a mom and we couldn’t help but nod our head and say “yes!” throughout her article. Showering is like a visit to the spa? Couldn’t agree more! In fact, I literally just said that today!

  1. Oh my, Dana! I meant to ask on the STEAM page, and forgot – would the STEAM book you reviewed be good for preschoolers, or is it aimed at a little higher of an age-range? Thanks for the shout out though! I greatly appreciate it!

    1. I think the STEAM book would be fun for preschoolers too! They might need a bit more guidance with some of the projects but I think it would still be a lot of fun for that age range as well. 🙂
