What are layered wheels?
Layered wheels are a fun hands-on way to learn about a particular subject; in this case, sharks!
Supplies you may need
- Scissors
- Printer paper or cardstock
- Markers, crayons, watercolors
- Glue stick

How to prepare the layered wheels
- Print out the sheets.
- Invite your child to cut out the three wheels and glue them together – layering them by largest on the bottom and smallest on the top.
- Then, cut the dashed lines on the top two layers of the wheels.
How to use the shark wheel for learning
- Invite your child to review the shark wheel to learn about different sharks and what they look like.
- Then, using that as a guide, invite them to draw their own sharks.
