Rainbow Sea Star Memory Match Game {Free Printable}

We’re excited to share with you another fun ocean themed activity for you today – our rainbow sea star memory match game. We included it in our ocean themed morning basket this month and it’s a great way for preschoolers to work on their colors while the older kids work on their memory skills. If you’re rounding up fun crafts and activities to do with the kids for your ocean themed morning basket or unit study – you will definitely want to add this fun memory match game to your list!

Supplies you’ll need for this game:

• Printer paper or cardstock
• Laminator (optional)
• Scissors or paper cutter
• Corner rounder (optional)

To play the game:

1. Print out the sheets, laminate them (optional), and cut out each card. We didn’t laminate them this time – we simply used cardstock and they seem to be holding up just fine but for added durability, laminating them would be a great idea.
2. Turn the cards face down, mix them up, and arrange them in a grid.
3. Take turns uncovering two cards at a time. If the cards match, keep them in your pile.
4. Continue taking turns uncovering cards until all the cards have been paired.
5. The person with the most cards in their pile wins.
