If you’re rounding up fun Christmas crafts and activities to do with the kids this year – you will definitely want to add this fun Christmas tree activity to your list! If you or your children have ever played pin the tail on the donkey, you know the fun! We wanted to take the classic game and add a fun Christmas twist to it.

To play the game:

  1. Print out the tree and stars
  2. Tape the tree to the wall
  3. Cut out the stars and place double-sided tape on the back of each
  4. Before playing, blindfold the first player, hand them a star, and see if they can place it atop the Christmas tree.
  5. Continue playing until all players have had a turn.

You could also write each child’s name on the front of their star so everyone knows which star is theirs.

Check out these adorable blindfolds or use a playsilk instead.

Money and time saving tip:

We signed up for the HP Instant Ink program over a year ago and absolutely love it! They offer several different plans (such as $4.99 for 100 pages a month) and will automatically send you new cartridges before you even need them.

We are now saving SO MUCH money (and time) on ink and I don’t feel guilty about printing out new printables and playdough mats each day. If you want to check it out, ordering through our link here will give you 1 free month.

You can use just about any HP printer but we’ve been using this compact one and absolutely love it! The color is gorgeous and matches my decor (we’ll call that a win!) and the size is smaller than any printer I’ve ever owned which is great for small spaces (or living room/dining room offices).

Between HP Instant Ink and our compact printer, my printing life truly has become so much easier to print all these fun playdough mats and activity sheets we’ve been making lately.

Thanks to Miss 8, who has been requesting more games such as this, we will be releasing additional games similar to this one in the near future so be sure to sign up for our newsletter list so you are the first to know when they are released.

The kids (ages 8, 5, and 2) have been having a blast with this game and play it over and over again.

  1. I would use the money to buy presents for the kids that would be useful in homeschooling them as well. We don’t have a ton of toys for them but toys that double as learning tools would be amazing.

  2. It would be a blessing in so many ways. We recently moved and my 3 adult daughters would love to come and visit but money is an issue. I would use the money to help pay for their tickets!

  3. We have been struggling financially so this would be a huge blessing! It would enable us to give gifts to our children and family.
