Matching Game Printable for Kids: Cute Mugs Edition

Your toddlers and preschoolers – and even older children – will love this matching game printable! My three-year-old absolutely loves these games and yours will too! We’ve made many different styles but this one is a cute mug set! The mugs are similar in color and design which makes this matching game a bit more difficult than some of our others – perfect for children who have mastered the easier sets and are looking for a bit more of a challenge.
Matching games are a fantastic first game for children! In fact, our printables have not only been used and loved by children around the globe but also by seniors with dementia.
We created our matching game by laminating and attaching velcro dots to the back but you could also cut out both sets and use them as a memory match game.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
- 2 sheets of images (1 to cut and 1 to place the cut-out images on).
HOW TO PREP THE CUTE MUGS MATCHING PRINTABLE:
- Print and laminate the sheets (2 included).
- Cut out the indicated mug images.
- We attached velcro dots (these are the velcro dots we use – they’re much better than the ones typically used in busy books as these won’t cover up the images beneath the velcro dots).

Then, invite your child to match the cut-out images to the full sheets.
You can store these in a folder or even a gallon-sized baggie!
