What You’ll Need

Perler beads

Circle pegboard

Ironing paper

Iron

Mini pom poms

Yarn

Hot glue gun

Scissors

What to Do

Begin by making a ring out of Perler beads on the circle pegboard. We went in a couple notches from the outside but you could make yours any size you’d like. Then, cover the beads with ironing paper and iron until all the beads have fused together (which didn’t take long on high heat).

Once cool, cut off approximately three feet of yarn and begin wrapping around the Perler bead ring. Secure the ends with a small dab of hot glue.

Next, cut off a few strips of yarn and adhere them to the bottom portion of the back of the ring. Add a few random mini pom poms to the center of the ring and to the three hanging strips.

That’s it! Easy, right? And so cute! It’s easy to customize the colors and size as well. This project was actually a result of a couple of our latest projects – Perler bead ring toss and our yarn transfer activity for toddlers. Isn’t it great when your creative juices get going and you end up with something you really love but didn’t plan on?
