Layered wheels are a fun hands-on way to learn about a particular subject; in this case, ice cream around the world!

Supplies you may need

Scissors
Printer paper or cardstock
Markers, crayons, watercolors
Glue stick

How to prepare the layered wheels

Print out the sheets.
Invite your child to cut out the three wheels and glue them together – layering them by largest on the bottom and smallest on the top.
Then, cut the dashed lines on the top two layers of the wheels.

How to use the ice cream wheel for learning

Invite your child to review the ice cream wheel to learn about different ice creams around the globe and what they look like.
Then, using that as a guide, invite them to draw their own ice cream.
