I recently donated our Halloween candy pails. They were bulky, the handles were uncomfortable to hold, and I thought a smaller canvas bag would be the perfect alernative. Then, just a couple weeks later, Star Kids Company contacted me and asked if I’d like to review their newest product – their Halloween goodie tote!

Perfect timing, right?

The children were very excited when they arrived and Miss 3 said she wanted to head out trick-or-treating right then and there. 🙂

After some explaining that we still had to wait until next month for Halloween, she happily agreed to use the bag for a trip to the park in the meantime.

The canvas bags are sized very generously at 16″ x 16″ x 2″. While they may be a bit large for younger children (unless they wanted to carry them on their shoulder), they would be perfect for the older ones.

Below is an image of Miss 3 holding her bag.

Here is Miss 9 with her bag.

They appear very durable and would definitely hold a huge amount of candy – nothing worse than having to turn back home early because you’ve run out of space in your trick-or-treat bag, right?

The bags are double sided, with one side containing two pockets that read “yummy” and “yuck,” while the other side reads “donate” and “share.”

The pockets are perfect for sorting either during trick-or-treating or after because no trick-or-treating is complete without the traditional sorting of the candy event!

These bags were given to us so that we could review them but as always, our opinion is 100% our own.
