If you’re rounding up fun crafts and activities to do with the kids for your next Easter-themed unit study or morning basket, you will definitely want to add this easy paper craft to your list!
Supplies you’ll need for this Easter craft:
- Printer paper or cardstock (ideal)
- Tissue paper
- Popsicle sticks (optional)
- Yarn (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Googly eyes
To make the eggs:
- Print out the egg printable and cut them out (we printed ours on cardstock for extra durability).
- Decorate each egg (we used balled-up pieces of tissue paper and googly eyes). You could also use gems, stickers, or markers.
- Attach the eggs to popsicle sticks to make cute puppets or string them on yarn to make a garland or to hang them from doorknobs or hooks.
- You could use an old shipping or cereal box to make a scene for the eggs and invite your child to put on a puppet show for you. Get creative and have fun!
